Vasanth G. Stephen, age 51, of Bloomingdale, Illinois, passed away on August 6th, 2024. He was born in Cochin, India on January 14, 1973. Vasanth was known for his thoughtfulness, kindness, vibrant energy, and passion for life, as well as his deep devotion to his faith. He excelled at connecting people and forging meaningful relationships within his community and as a successful entrepreneur. Vasanth loved people and had a passion for uplifting and bringing them together. He was a strong advocate for diversity and had a deep passion for supporting small businesses, often championing minority-owned businesses and dedicating his efforts to promoting their growth and success. Vasanth is survived by his wife Ronalyn Stephen, son Joshua Sebastian P. Stephen, father Gladson Stephen, and sister Aisha Waseem. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Omana Stephen. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13th at 3:00 pm at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapel. The
funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 14th, at 10:30 am at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to support small, local, and diverse women-owned
businesses in Chicago of your choice, in honor of Vasanth. Vasanth was an incredible man who impacted many lives. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Vasanth was an amazing person that connected to everyone in such a direct and sincere way. I witnessed his dedication to women and minority businesses and his continuous dedication to serve. Even though I only knew him for a few months he will be sincerely missed.

Our deepest condolences to the family, friends and business owners who had the privilege to know this blessed man. Stephen's smile lit up a room, and every time he called, his face would brightened my phone and made me smile. His thoughtful daily notes filled my day with light and positivity. His mission was to help others, connect great people and rise them up...it was a gift. He truly made everyone around him a better person for have knowing Stephen. His smile and unwavering optimism were a beacon of joy for everyone around him. I will miss you and our daily calls, my friend.
