Robert Angelo Holtz, AKA Bob, was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 24th, 1947. He was born to the late Lawrence and Josephine Holtz and was the second child of six (the late Lawrence “Larry Boy”, Josie, Geraldine, Debbie, and Kathy). His first job during high school was working with his dad to hand deliver groceries to the local residents of the area. At the age of 19 he entered the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany and his primary role was to clean and reassemble artillery transported to Vietnam. At the age of 23 he married his greatest love Angela Andalcio-Holtz. Together they had three children and through them five grandkids. Bob’s main profession throughout his adult life was truck-driving but his passion was going above and beyond to help anyone in need and to make the people around him smile and laugh regularly. Robert passed away at the age of 76 peacefully on September 19th, 2023. Bob is the Loving Father of Rachelle Ballesteros, Ryan (Ali) Holtz, and Aundrea (Alan Hrizak). Cherished Grandfather to Enya, Jaden, Rylie, Evan, and Masen.
