Mike, was such a wonderful man. We looked forward to his delivery days here at Loyola-Stritch. He always made us laugh and smile. He was so proud to share stories of his family, his vacations, his dogs and his beautiful wife. He he was so proud of his beautiful Christmas village and would show us the pictures of his masterpiece. When he retired his presence, kind smile and great conversations were greatly missed. May the memories you have of Mike be forever remembered with thoughtfulness and kindness in your hearts. Heaven gained another angel.

Our friend who became part of our family. We meet years ago in sunny Aruba. We cherished our times with you and Cindy in Aruba, as well as your visits here and our visits to see you both. Mike you fought hard, and tough battle with a horrid disease. You are and will be greatly missed by your entire Michigan family you found in Aruba. Love always. Cindy we are with you in spirit! We love you! Your sister and Jimmy. So sorry we could not attend the service.

For the past 2 years we have periodically kept in contact with Mike and we’ve heard his progress and set backs. It was in the last few weeks our understanding was that this was not going well. While being 10 years his senior he was always a part of the family parties from the early days. We were both motorcycle riders so that was one connection. He always said he did appreciate we prayed for him and apparently it was his time to go. We’ll miss him and his welcoming smile. Weather is iffy so we’ll try to make it to Illinois but we’re certainly there in spirit. Wis we were still flying!

Aruba won’t be as sunny without Mike. His warmth and good nature will sorely be missed. He was definitely one of the good ones. Love and hugs to Cindy, Amber, and family. Love, Greg and Debbie Paliczuk
