Margaret C Murray (nee Curcio), age 94. Loving wife of the late John “Jack” P. Murray, Devoted mother of Kathy (Tony) Mulizio, Donna (Wes Wendt) Cosenza, Joe (Donna) Murray, Mike (Marnie) Murray, Kelli (Rick) Ahern, the late Peggy Buruato, late Tom Murray and the late John Murray. Beloved daughter of the late Sam and Jenny (nee Covella) Curcio. Proud Grandma Marge “Margie” of 28 grandchildren, including her 2 late grandchildren Kareen Holloway and Allyson Murray. Great grandma Marge to 36 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Sarah (Sam), Madelyn (Bill), Jeanette (Sal), and Tony (Yvonne). Fond aunt, cousin and friend of many. Marge and Jack raised their large family in Berkeley, IL for 42 years before retiring to DeKalb in 1994. Marge was a faithful catholic and devoted servant in her church and community. She was an expert homemaker, avid gardener, had an eye for fashion and decor. She loved any kind of shopping, including window shopping, and shared her treasures with all who knew her. Visitation Thursday January 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W Lake St., Roselle. Funeral Friday 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Michael Church, 310 S. Wheaton Ave., Wheaton for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Mrs Murray was a great mother and example for the entire extended family. Her devotion to her family was always present. May she rest in peace with Jack.
