Marcel always knew how to listen. He was the one friend you could sit for hours and just talk and he would be there to listen with the best advice. Thank you for being that amazing friend. I’m going to miss you.

Not enough can be said in words to express what kind of person Marcel was. To have something asked of him to do and he wouldn’t think twice to say otherwise. The way he lit up every room he was in, motivated everyone around him, and always strived to be the best he could every day. He made light of every situation and never failed to put a smile on my face, he was someone you can sit in a room with for hours and not have to say a word. A friend like Marcel is truly once in a lifetime although to me he was more than a friend, he was my brother. I love you marcel.

Dear Asia and Dear Marek. It is great sadness to receive the news of the death of your Beloved Son, Marcel. We still cannot accept the passing of this wonderful young man so soon. Marcel was an exceptional boy, full of boundless energy and new ideas. Although he left us all far too soon, it was great pleasure for us to be able to associate with him from time to time. May his passion and commitment to sport remain in our memories forever. It is said that we live as long as the memory of us lives with others. He taught me how to enjoy life and make the most out of the little things. Someone so reliable, that this doesn’t even feel possible. He was the person I would go to for anything and everything, and that’s still an understatement. I had always wanted to be just like him. Always looking up to Marcel- my hero and role model. Words cannot express how I feel about the recent loss of Marcel. He was a swimmer whom coaches wanted to have on their team. He was a dedicated swimmer, supportive teammate, and knew how to have fun. Marcel was such a kind person. Each interaction I had was so meaningful. Having the opportunity to coach him and get to know him is something I will never forget. Thank you for so many fond memories. I will miss you!

To the parents and family of Marcel, Please know how deeply sorry I am for the loss of Marcel. I was his elementary school principal at Medinah Intermediate. I will always remember his kind disposition and strong work ethic to achieve. His smile and gentle ways stood out to me. He is now with God. I keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

You brought joy to everyone’s lives. You never failed to make me laugh. I always loved how you would laugh at my jokes, but then say afterwards that it wasn’t funny.
