It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Joseph Siracuse (age 70) on December 30, 2024. John was a dear husband to Ann for 47 years. Beloved father to John Jr.(Candice). Cherished brother to Joann (Peter), Vita, Patricia (George). Doting Papa to Kory and Jackson. Uncle, cousin and friend to many. He was well loved within his church and community and was a respected retired Franklin Park Police Officer. His passions included basketball, the Cubs and Bible study. But nothing brought him more joy thank being with family. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy and though we know he is whole, healed and in the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ, he will be dearly missed.

I have known John for many years as an outstanding auxiliary police officer. He often had a smile on his face and was a true gentleman. Thank you for your years of service, John. Barrett F. Pedersen Mayor Franklin Park

John was a gift to all of us. He was very good to my father who worked with him in the grocery business. John knew endless items of interest across a huge expanse of subject matter making him a truly remarkable man. Just a shining spirit. His family is very special in carrying John's light. Thinking of all the happy times. Love. Steve Scuderi
