Deborah (Debbie) Ann Blachowicz, age 65, finished her journey here on earth on August 6th, 2024. Debbie was born May 2nd, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to her loving parents Lois and the late Leo Nakashian. She is survived by her brothers, Stephen Nakashian, Thomas (Stacy) Nakashian, James Nakashian and Timothy (Amanda) Nakashian. Nothing was more important to Debbie than her family. She leaves behind a large legacy, her three sons Andrew (Vana) Blachowicz, Matthew (Kelly) Blachowicz, and Kyle (Nohemi) Blachowicz and her two daughters Kimberly (Bryan) Blachowicz and Brandi (Frederick) Blachowicz . She adored her thirteen grandchildren: Ava, Joel, Justen, Dayton, Dylan, Alina, Leon, Mia, Brody, Olivia, Zoey, Delaney, and Lyla. Debbie was a loving aunt to many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
She will always be remembered as our little firecracker, small but mighty. Never hard to please Debbie, she loved to just be surrounded by her family, laughing and reminiscing. To say she had a green thumb is an understatement, she loved surrounding her home with beautiful plants and flowers. Decorating and redecorating her home was something she loved to do, even if it meant selling her brand new furniture at a garage sale for close to nothing to buy something new, we still laugh about that every day. She enjoyed going out to eat, BLT was her go to no matter where we went and if that bacon wasn’t burnt “like glass” you better watch out! When we were out to eat, she was the first one out of her seat to “try the machines”, she loved to play slots. Her obsession with buying socks, white clothes/sweaters (which filled her entire closet), and anything tie dye was hilarious. Debbie cherished the small things in life, including BBQ’s because it was a reason for everyone to get together. Her kids and grandchildren were her pride and joy, she would remind us often by sending videos and messages in the middle of the night.
No one could touch our hearts the way she did, we are going to miss our little lady more than words will ever be able to explain, she left us all way too soon and took a piece of us with her. Hope you’re dancing in the sky with our “chump” (PA).
