Catherine Grillo Guido

Catherine Grillo Guido, 96-1/2, of Addison, IL passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2025. The daughter of Peter and Rose (Rossetti) Grillo, Catherine was born on September 27, 1928 in Chicago. Catherine grew up on the West side near Albany and Roosevelt and graduated from Harrison High School in 1946.
Catherine worked for Sears Roebuck on Homan Avenue in Timekeeping and Payroll from 1946-1955 and then again in the Parts Department in Carol Stream from 1976-1996. Beloved wife to the late Frank Guido for 72 years; loving mother of Marlene (Alan) Servos, Rosemarie Prince and the late Joseph Guido. Cherished grandmother of the late Nicholas Prince, Jenna Prince, Michael (Stephanie) Servos and Mark Servos. Adored great-grandmother of Tyler Prince, Geneva Servos and Lidia Rosine. Dear sister of the late Frances Elsenbroek, the late Angeline Reinhart and the late Geno Grillo. Admired aunt, cousin and friend to many. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapel, 450 W. Lake Street, Roselle, IL 60172 on Friday, April 4, 2005. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon. Internment will be private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
