Anthony Damato, 94, of Lake Villa passed away peacefully on January 26, 2023. Beloved father of Frank (Catherine) Damato and Linda (John) Dahlgren and Grandfather to Shannon, Steven, Samantha, Laura and Michelle.

A prayer service will take place at All Saints Cemetery in the East Chapel of the Indoor Mausoleum with entombment to follow on Saturday, February 4th at 11:00 a.m.

I was a good friend of your father for around 10 years at LA Fitness. He truly was the genuine article. He never complained about his situation , when his mobility was declining. He always wanted to do his best to keep mobility going. Most of all , he expressed his love for his family. He will be truly missed. Unfortunately , I also know about Josephine 's passing as well. So sorry to hear about her loss as well. I told your dad that when I pass, to look me up in heaven. I'll be praying for all of you. Sincerely , Liz
