With great sadness, we announce the passing of Timothy R. White on May 10, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Diana Restrepo; devoted father of Koby, Jordan and Lukas; loving son of Margaret (Gary) Walker and Michael (Kim) White; and the dear brother of James (Lisa) White.

Tim was born on May 21, 1976. He spent nearly 20 years in the commercial insurance industry. As many have stated, his quick wit would make you laugh out loud, and his infectious smile would light up a room. His best times were spent with his family, but his favorite thing to do was watch his boys play sports and experience places and things together.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday May 16 at Salerno’s Galewood Chapel, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago IL 60707. A blessing will be held at 8pm.

A celebration of his life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 10 at LaSalle Street Church, 1136 N. LaSalle St., Chicago IL 60610.

We have had an enormous outpouring of love and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to support Koby, Jordan, and Lukas’ education. These boys were the most important things in his life and he would want anything given in his memory to go to them. https;//www.gofundme.com/in-l oving-memory-of-timothy-white

I worked at Triopia and remember Tim and his wonderful smile and kindness. He had a good sense of humor, and always seemed so happy. Our son, Tim, was 2 years ahead of Tim. He was a great guy. So sorry for your loss. You'll be in my prayers.

My name is Carole Robertson. I was Tim's music teacher, all the years that he attended Triopia. He was such a bright spirit. He never knew a stranger. He was soo very talented and in everything he attempted. Music, speech, personality, love of people around him. It was impossible to be in a bad mood around him. If my 'chorus' class became boring, he always had something to say, just to get the whole 'room' going ! I was so saddened to hear of his passing. God must be needing an angel, that can sing, dance, laugh, build people up, be serious and yet get his point across. I will never forget him or his antic's. Fly high, dear one, you will be missed by all who knew you.

I had Tim as a student in 4th grade. He was a delightful boy with shining eyes. His creativity knew no bounds. I have no doubt he was a loving husband and father. Sending lots of love to his family.
