Steve was a the bright spot in the day. Always happy, always there when you were in a pinch. I will forever value his friendship. He loved his family and spoke about them all the time. His son was his focus. AZ was his home. I will miss our friend forever.

Dear Steve, Our hearts are broken and there will be something missing from our lives but we will always treasure the great times we had together. You and Joe working side by side on various flooring projects, numerous fishing trips with Dina and I. We literally weathered storms together in Canada. We had lots of board time fun playing Yhatzee and Risk together along with some emotional Risk games too....heehee If we needed anything we could always count on you so selflessly. Then when Jake was born you became a dad who lived by example. Your love for your family and friends grew and remained so strong and so remarkably selfless. Many times when we needed a hand, here comes you and Jake to save the day from cleaning up construction or staging projects, it didn't matter, you were there! Joe has such great memories of you and Jake golfing, sharing stories and simply sharing life! Thank you for all the memories. We will miss you and love you always! Rest in peace our dear friend. XOXO

My Dearest Son, I can't believe I will no longer be able to talk to you or see your smile. The day you were born, and I held you in my arms for the first time, I felt so blessed that God have given me such a beautiful, tiny little baby to love and care for. In your lifetime, you have fought many battles and always pulled through, after all the name Zolnierczyk does translate to "little soldier". This last battle was the ultimate fight...you kept your positivity the whole time, continued to be there for your family, and fought the good fight, in the end your services were needed in heaven. You completed your work here on Earth. Thank you for always being there for me in my time of need. Thank you for always making scarifices for those you loved. Thank you for always putting yourself second for the sake of others. You will always be hero in my eyes. Please look after Dad, maybe catch a few Cubs games. I will love you forever. Rest in peace my darling, you deserve it. Love Forever, Mom

Steve, you are going to be missed more than you know. You had a sense of humor beyond measure. Thank you for always being there when it counted. I will miss being able to grow old with you and reminisce about all the crazy things we did as brother and sister. I love you, Steve. So glad I had 50 years with you. Love you forever, your kid sister Julie ❤️

The loss of our good friend is mind blowing. Steve was always there to help us; whatever the request or task, he brought his mountain of expertise and friendship to make it happen. Everything done to perfection and with more than a sprinkling of love. We are forever grateful for his presence in our lives. We are so blessed to call him friend.
