Steve was my nephew and because I was only a few years older we spent a lot of time together. Along with his brother Don we went to Lane Tech high school together. Steve was always a little more subdued than his brother Don. Growing up and spending time in their neighborhood we had a lot of fun and got in a couple of scrapes. Steve fought a valiant battle for the last few years, not being a person to give up easily. My prayers and condolences go out to his family and friends. God bless.

I can still hear Steve’s joyful laughter and how much love and passion he had for those in his life. I can still hear him say, “Hey Cousin” like no time has passed. It may have been a long time since I have seen him but he’ll always be in my heart. Till we meet again… Love you Cousin. Rest in peace

On behalf of the Weiss family (Yogi, Alice, Hayley, Michael and Mark)….we are truly blessed to have had Steve in our lives. He was such a huge presence in our family since before I was born. I loved hearing about all the hunting trips and sifting through all the photos of them having the time of their lives together! I can imagine them all together in heaven now. God bless and rest in peace Steve!

I am very sad to say goodbye to Steve. He was one of the most considerate and decent people I ever had the honor to have as a friend. He always had something interesting and challenging for me to do. I am truly going to miss him. I also wish to offer my condolences to his family for their loss.
