It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Magdalena (Montoya) Luna, who left this world on March 22nd, 2025. Born on July 22, 1948, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, she was the cherished daughter of Santa and Juvencio Montoya and the eldest sister to her five siblings: Rico, Juvencio, Tomas, Alicia, and Gustavo.

Magdalena was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Joaquin Luna, and a nurturing mother to her three sons—Gerardo, Juan, and Joaquin. Her unwavering love and dedication to her family were evident in everything she did.

In addition to being a loving mother, she was a proud grandmother to seven beautiful grandchildren: Samantha, Nadia, Miriam, Aime, Ivanna, Veronica, and Ximena. Her legacy of love and devotion extended to her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and happiness.

Magdalena had a deep love for music, particularly the timeless songs of Elvis, and she cherished moments filled with laughter and connection. She found joy in capturing precious memories with her family, whether through photos or phone calls, ensuring that each moment together was treasured.

A pillar of strength and compassion, Magdalena touched the lives of all who knew her. Her kindness and nurturing spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the indelible mark she left on the lives she enriched.

A celebration of her life will be held on March 25th, 2025, where family and friends are invited to share their memories and honor the beautiful spirit of Magdalena.
