She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, great aunt, and friend. Lourdes was born on March 31, 1963 in Havana, Cuba to Hilda and Abelardo Ambron. She, along with her parents and sister Hilda, fled Cuba to the United States in 1966. Lourdes married her childhood sweetheart, Francisco Hernandez Jr. at only 17 years old. They were married for 17 years and shared two beautiful daughters, Kiki and Jenny. In 2005, she married her love Frank Arriola. They were married for almost 14 years before Frank passed away in 2019. They shared a wonderful life together, always spending time with their grandkids and dog Yogi. Everyone that met Lourdes loved her. Her nephew Danny Smith, niece Dina (Jeff) Kading, great nephew Cameron Kading, and cousin Margie Manso. Kiki, Jenny and Family, knowing Lourdes was to meet you all at once, she always spoke so proudly of each and everyone of you, you were her biggest pride and joy. Lourdes was the epitome of love for family and friends, there is simply no one that will ever match her energy in this world to me, her personality was loud (I will miss that so much) but oh so gentle at the same time. She had a way to make the most introvert share their experiences and she valued that trust too. She was not just my coworker, she became a friend, a mom and a guide for life, Lourdes had the capacity to read my feelings without even me speaking, she protected everyone from worrying about whatever; She carried peoples hearts in hers. I have so many memories on what we called therapeutic conversations, she could speak on the phone for hours and hours (specially on steroids) I am going to miss every single little thing but I am also so grateful my path crossed hers. My most sincere and heartfelt sympathy for all of you, may her memories keep pushing you all forward to overcome her absence. Rest easy my dear Lourdes, love you always, until we meet again.

It has been a long time since I worked with Lourdes at PaySaver Credit Union, but I remember those times fondly. She was one of the people that always made it more fun to be at work. So sorry to hear of her passing, and she is gone much too soon.

To know Lourdes is to love her. She entered a room with such a presence. She always had a great attitude and sense of humor even in the hardest times during her treatment. I’ve never met a woman like her before. She has a place in my heart forever. I am so sorry for your loss, may she rest in peace.

I was blessed to have known Lourdes and work with her for many years. She would always greet you with a smile and ask how things were going or how you felt. She had a wonderful laugh that brought a smile to your face and lifted your spirits. She was a warm, giving and caring individual, unlike anyone I ever met. My deepest condolences to her family.

Kik, Jenny & family, I am so incredibly sorry and saddened to hear about the passing of your mom. I have so many fun memories being at your house when we were little eating your market day and swimming in your pool. Your mom always welcomed us and let us in, even when Kiki didn’t haha. From sour cream throwing to advice on life I will never forget how your mom took me in when my mom passed, just like Sandy’s & Anastasia’s. You all were like my second family and it meant the world. I hope the Lord gives you all strength at this time. May she rest in peace and her memory be eternal. Love you all

Lourdes was one the most beautiful people, inside and out, I have had the privilege to work with and know. Her personality, laugh, and way of looking at the world was so infectious. Not a person could meet her and walk away without a smile. She always brought joy and laughter. She will be missed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her. We're so lucky to have had the time we had with her.

I worked with Lourdes for the past 9 years. She was just such a fun outgoing lady. She was almost like a second mom to me. I always enjoyed her company and am going to miss her so much. She is now flying high with the angels. Rest in Peace, Lourdes.
