It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lola Chilia, a cherished wife, mother, sister, grandparent, and great grandparent, and friend. A dedicated homemaker, Lola embraced life’s positives and spread joy and kindness to all. Her legacy includes her love for teaching Sunday school, her passion for cooking, and her unwavering devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched; Lola was a Beloved wife of Sam; Devoted mother of Annual (Dee) Brackin, Teresa (Mark) Chilia-Phillips, Donna (Joe) Balcer, and the late Anthony Chilia; Loving daughter of the late Louie and Jo Phillips; Dear sister of Margaret (Art) Carlson, David (Debbie) Phillips and Patricia (Michael) Hansche; Adored grandma of Gabrielle Chilia, Michael Brackin, Joseph Phillips, Grace and Andrew Brackin; Cherished Mimi of Ahlani and Maliah. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Lola’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org

Lola was so kind-hearted, positive and had such a wonderful sense of humor! She was great with kids too. I had the pleasure of teaching Sunday School with her She will be missed by so many. ❤️
