Katherine Barkidjija, 80, born in Preko, Ugljan Island, Croatia, to Krsto and Marica Soric, beloved wife of the late John Barkidjija, loving mother to John (Vivien) and Christopher (Anya), and devoted grandmother of John, Gabrielle, Andrew, Misha, George, Nicholas and George. Visitation at Salerno’s Galewood Chapel at 1857 N. Harlem Avenue, Chicago, on June 30 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral mass on Saturday, July 1 at 9:00 a.m. at Funeral Home to St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Mass 10:00 a.m., 1530 Jackson Avenue, River Forest. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
