I was David’s home health nurse and I always enjoyed going to see them. For awhile I saw David 3 times a week. They always welcomed me and asked questions about me and my daughter, they would give me goodies to bring home like cake and sweets. he was so kind. I always wished there was more I could do for him. May he Rest In in peace.

My deep condolences to Dave’s family. I was very sad to hear of Dave’s passing. We worked together for 18 years at the CME Group. He was such a kind and generous man. He always made me laugh. When I was down he helped raised my spirits. I am blessed to have so many wonderful memories of Dave. You will be missed. ❤️ you Dave.

To Jeane and all the family members: Our condolences to you all for the passing of David. He lived life to the fullest, with the “pedal to the metal.” His enthusiasm, passion, and incredible intellect will be sorely missed. We are sad to see him go. It was too soon. But, we know he’s with the Lord, and in a place where there’s no more sickness. He’s continually loved and cherished there. We’re thankful for David’s life and knowing him and Jeane. Blessings.

This is such a beautiful tribute to such an amazing man. I love reading all these stories. I had the honor of working with Dave for 15 years at CME - marketing and educating the world on the wonders of the S&P 500 and all those other indexes! I was just thinking the other day about how he always told me to forget investing in a myriad of funds while paying high commissions - just put it in the SP500 index and let it ride. After looking at my current portfolio - well he was right!. Dave taught me so much over the years and I remember wishing he was my college professor as I would have done much better in that portfolio class. But more importantly I was happier to call him a friend. He was always full of life and energy with that positive charm and was always one of my biggest cheerleaders. I still miss popping in his office to hide from my responsibilities after making copies outside the Equity team's old offices on the "purple" floor. While it is heartbreaking that he had to take on this battle, I know he is driving through the heavens and enjoying the view!
