I am heart broken to hear about Carolina's passing. I met Carolina when she was a resident of mine at Elmhurst College, I was her RA. We became friends and she was one of my favorite people that lived on our floor. She was so gentle and loving. She welcomed everyone and always had a smile on her face. Her energy was contagious. Carolina, you really helped make my experience as an RA an amazing one and I will never forget you. Heaven gained an incredible angel.

Carolina was loved by many. She excelled in academics achieving both a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work. Her passion was being a Counselor for others. Her smile, charm, warm heart, and kindred spirit are key traits she possessed. She had the energy, charisma, and enthusiasm to light up a room. She was an excellent friend. Que Dios bendiga a Carolina en el cielo y en la tierra! Mucho amor mi amiga, DARA

My darling Carolina, with your sweet smile. I am so sorry that you left us so soon. As my teacher aide, and as my friend, I know that you had so many wonderful talents. You gave your all to our students at Jackson, and they loved you, too. It was my pleasure to watch you teach our students. It was wonderful to be at your graduation party, and to dance the night away. You accomplished so much in such a short time, and never gave up. I cherish the moments I spent with you and your loving family. Rest in peace - sweet little angel. I know that you are resting in God's arms now, and out of pain. Until we meet again - thank you for blessing my life in so many ways.
